2112 – Spotlight on Hugh Syme
Hugh Syme is a graphic artist best known as the man responsible for all but the first 2 of Rush’s album cover art, including the brand new 2112 5.1 cover. He also created Rush’s famous starman logo, though he never imagined the band would use it, nor that it would gain such international recognizably as their main logo. He collaborated with Ian Thomas as both keyboardist and songwriter from 1973 to 1980, eventually leading to his alliance with Rush, as they were both then managed by SRO/Anthem. Thanks to all the fans who came out to see the Clockwork Angels Tour 2012! It was an amazing run – from the Clockwork Angels String Ensemble, the filming in Dallas & Phoenix, and YOU. Rush to film Phoenix & Dallas shows on Clockwork Angels Tour
Rush will capture the Clockwork Angels tour by filming in Phoenix and Dallas on Nov 25th and 28th respectively. Be a part of the show – get your tickets here for Phoenix or Dallas. The shows are being filmed for an upcoming DVD set for release in 2013.
