Official Trailer for TIME STAND STILL documentary

WATCH THE OFFICIAL TRAILER

For one night only, Rush | Time Stand Still, a documentary narrated by Paul Rudd that looks at the legendary band’s 40-year career and what might be its final tour, will play in more than 500 theaters in North America (check listings here). The event also includes a 20-minute long short, which won’t be on the home video, called “Rush: A Salute to Kings,” featuring interviews with Gene Simmons, Ann and Nancy Wilson, Taylor Hawkins, Chad Smith, and more pronouncing their fandom.

It’s a documentary brimming with talent, but the spotlight isn’t reserved solely for celebrities, as the official theatrical trailer—provided exclusively to The A.V. Club—shows Time Stand Still paying service to some of rock’s most devoted fans. Promising an intimate look at these diehards, bassist Geddy Lee expresses his appreciation for those who have supported Rush along the way, “People pat us on the back for not compromising. Well, we couldn’t do that if our fan base wasn’t there for us. They’ve given us the freedom to be us.”
