Clockwork Angels: The Graphic Novel

Rush drummer and lyricist Neil Peart and New York Times bestselling author Kevin J. Anderson have brought the story of CLOCKWORK ANGELS to comics. BOOM! Studios will release the first issue (of six) of CLOCKWORK ANGELS: The Graphic Novel, written by Neil Peart, scripted by Kevin J. Anderson, with art by talented newcomer Nick Robles. The comic will debut at Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle on March 28, with a special exclusive cover for ECCC. There will be three variant covers in comic stores, an exclusive cover via rush.com and BOOM! websites, and a limited cover for distribution with the Larry’s Comics chain. Rush – ReDISCovered LP Box coming April 29

In March of 1974, Rush released their self-titled debut through the band’s own indie label, Moon Records in Canada, and quickly sold out of the initial 3500 copies originally pressed. Moon Records would soon become Anthem Records, which launched in 1977, and continues to serve as the band’s only Canadian record company. To mark the band’s 40-year recording career, on April 29, 2014, Anthem/UMe will celebrate with the vinyl reissue of the original Moon Records (pre-Mercury) release of Rush, as part of Universal’s reDISCovered vinyl series. Housed in a sturdy, custom box with a lift-off top, this landmark album is pressed on 200g, audiophile grade vinyl, from the original 1974

Clockwork Angels Tour TV Premiere on VH-1 Classic

RUSH’s “Clockwork Angels Tour” concert film will receive a television premiere on VH1 Classic on Sunday, “Rush: Clockwork Angels Tour” was released via Anthem/Roadrunner Records on November 19. Anthem/Zoe Vision/Rounder will simultaneously release the companion DVD. “Rush: Clockwork Angels Tour” was filmed and recorded in November 2012 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, during RUSH’s highly successful “Clockwork Angels” tour.
