Limited Edition print by Alex Lifeson

For a charity close to his heart, Alex Lifeson has made a limited number of prints available of his popular painting entitled “L’ami Geddy a L’ami Louis” that features his bandmate and lifelong friend, Geddy Lee, and himself. There are only 325 prints, of which Alex and Geddy have signed and numbered each. All proceeds from the sale of the prints will be going to the Kidney Foundation of Canada. RUSH R40 Live Concert Film out today / SiriusXM Town Hall Q&A Hosted by Michael Moore to air 11/25

November 20, 2015 – Nashville, TN – R40 Live, an extraordinary document of Rush’s career-spanning 40th anniversary tour, was released today. Rush recorded and filmed R40 Live over two sold-out shows at the Air Canada center in the band’s hometown of Toronto on June 17 and 19, 2015. The epic live shows by the Rock Hall of Famers were captured with 14 cameras, in order to give fans the best possible viewing experience. The band, comprised of bassist/keyboardist/lead singer Geddy Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson, and drummer Neil Peart, undertook a 35-city tour this summer to celebrate their 40-plus years together.  The sold-out tour, which included stops in Atlanta, Buffalo, Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Philadelphia, New York, Seattle, St. Louis, Toronto, Tulsa, and

And the men who hold high places Must be the ones to start To mold a new reality Closer to the heart The AV Club reveals the next live clip from R40 Live  with “Closer to the Heart” before release on November 20. “The concert film also includes what Lee refers to as a “pretty little number” off of the band’s A Farewell To Kings album, “Closer To The Heart.” This popular tune spurred fans to raise lighters and phones as Lifeson unplugs, plucking the opening strings on his acoustic guitar, with Lee singing the familiar lyrics before Peart makes it whole by adding his precise percussion.”
