On why he first got into collecting: “Later in my life, when I got turned onto the idea of vintage instruments and I acquired the first one in 2012 or 2013, a light bulb went on and I felt ignorant of the instrument that I had held in my hands for over 40 years. Billboard sat down with Geddy Lee to discuss his new book release Big Beautiful Book of Bass.  Geddy states in the interview: “I realized there wasn’t a sort of definitive book about the bass guitar…I felt the bass guitar was not only under-represented in terms of books, but the beauty of some of these instruments has never been properly captured. Geddy Lee has released a photograph titled “King Penguin Colony” that he took at Volunteer Point while in the Falkland Islands in Feb 2016 in support of the Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF). The CWF is celebrating National Wildlife Week April 10-16 and their “Wild Art Exhibit” will feature Lee’s photograph.
